TAT  Contemporary Art Gallery

Hegyes’s surrealistic pictures, with their layers projected onto and into each other, lure the viewer into some kind of a dreamworld. In his photographs, time and space get frozen sometimes, at other times, different dates – or on the contrary: at the same time, different venues, complete stories come to life within one frame. With their faded, old colors, his works radiate a nostalgic atmosphere, one can recognize their childhood fairy tales whilst looking at them, or they prompt one to make up their own stories using pure imagination.

The pictures, which were exhibited at Bárka Theater in February, are on show again at Tat Gallery. If you want to take a look at them again or in case you missed it back then, this is a great opportunity to come and visit us the next weeks.
