TAT Contemporary Art Gallery announces a call for contemporary artists to reinterpret significant works of art history.
The Exhibition:
MÁSKÉPP – Reinterpretation of significant works of art history
The submitting artists are to choose well-known artworks to reinterpret them and to create paraphrases.
In the framework of the call, submitted artworks chosen by a professional jury are to be on display at MÁSKÉPP exhibition hosted by TAT Gallery between 26th September and 23rd October.

Exhibition of Eszter Kneisz tapestry artist
Eszter Kneisz follows Sándor Weöres Hungarian poet's spirit when in her artworks, she reinterprets the manifestations of bhakti, that is, the concept of loving devotion in Hindu theology. Celebrations and harmony between men and women are in the focus of the selected artworks exhibited at Tat Gallery.

Mémories and fragments in three dimensions
— Images, Objects, Bodies —
Composed of images (photo, engraving, video), objects (textile) and performances, this exhibition invites the visitors to an experience of spatio-temporal itinerary of memories. At the opening ceremony, the visitors will have the chance to watch and participate in the four performances, among which, one will also be in English.

His montages comprise hours, days, weeks, in some cases even years or a whole lifetime....
