In 1984, he established the Grotto One Gallery in Bagneux - suburb of Paris - , where between 1985 and 1996 he assembled a mega-collage depicting a time capsule. Since then he has taken part in numerous projects. In 2008 he began a series of digitally rendered paintings, which at the present time is comprised of several hundred pieces, and which lays the foundation for a new artistic language and style he calls Fusionism. In 2011 he composed the first draft of the Fusionist Manifesto entitled The Winning Strategy.

Kristóf Ázbej, both a multi-faceted artist and an art project designer, was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1953 and received education in Budapest, Algiers, and Paris. His works have been exhibited and published since 1973. He lives and works both in Paris and in Budapest.
