Norbert GARAY-NAGY

Garay-Nagy uses hyperrealism as a tool forexpressing emotions and feelings, rather as an autotelic visual form. For him images are not only aesthetic cathegories, but they have also moral and metaphysical contents. The dialogue that takes place between the picture and the viewer leads to the opening of such inner routes, substances, and memories that are completed by the picture itself.

Norbert Garay-Nagy was born in Vác in 1978, and graduated from the Department of Visual Arts at Esterházy Károly Főiskola (Eger) in 2001, where his teachers were among others Imre Bukta and Péter Földi. He is planning to exhibit some of his works in Istambul and in Beijing at the end of 2012.
